Hyatt Place Virginia Beach Town Center

The setup and design of the hotel was excellent, loved the security aspect that your room key is required for access to elevator for all staying at the hotel. I will definitely stay there again on my next visit to Virginia Beach.

My partner and I stayed at this hotel for 10 nights, from April 30 to May 9, 2024, to celebrate our anniversary and her birthday. I live in Virginia Beach, and I'm aware that finding a good hotel with reasonable rates can be challenging. However, the Hyatt Place in Town Center Virginia exceeded our expectations. It's affordable but offers a level of service you'd expect from a 5-star hotel. The breakfast was fantastic, the location is convenient, and there's plenty of easy-to-find parking. The standout feature for me, though, was the staff. IVY at the front desk was incredibly helpful during check-in, ensuring we kept our rate even though my card had issues with payment. She remained a great help throughout our stay. CINDY A, MEGHAN, and the entire housekeeping team were always on hand to offer assistance and ensure we had everything we needed. BRANDON, ROCKY, CINDY, CONNER, and EMILY at the front desk were all friendly and approachable, addressing any concerns we had with a smile. We even met DENNIS in the elevator, and he kindly asked about our stay and whether the air conditioning was working properly. I can't remember the names of the breakfast area staff, but they were equally amazing, always hard at work to ensure guests had a great start to their day. I used to work in the hospitality industry, so I understand how tough it can be to maintain high standards and keep guests happy. The team at Hyatt Place Town Center did an outstanding job, making us feel welcome and comfortable. I can't thank them enough, and we will definitely be back!

This year alone I have went to Virginia Beach 4 times and I have gone to different hotels and Air BnB's but by far this hotel was in the top 3 for me in going to Virginia Beach because the location was right there in the plaza and it wasn't too far from the beach but it wasn't too far from all the other nice restaurants everything is about 10-20 minute drive which I think its perfect because its not too close to all the chaos of the Virginia Ocean front but its not too far where the car drive is overwhelming. Overall super happy with the stay and super happy with the room, me and my wife usually try to give all the furniture a pass and change the sheets and all from the bed but this time that we stayed everything was super clean and the sheets smelled like they had been machine washed.

Staff were all friendly and professional. Felt safe, staff was alert and attentive. Room was clean and comfortable and descent size. Door key worked great at all times for all areas. Well stocked snack bar offering Starbucks brand coffees. Breakfast was good.

The staff were great. We checked in went to the room and there was a leak in bathroom. Went back down told them and she was so sweet and quick to change our room and also give us free breakfast all week. The pool is very small and limited seating but my kids had fun swimming in it anyway. The hotel was clean and all around a good stay.
